For condos in Burnaby, Yaletown, Brentwood, Metrotown, and other strata communities, vinyl plank is a practical choice when durability, moisture resistance, and cost control are priorities. Budget is a major factor: high-quality LVP installs in the range of approximately $6 to $10 per square foot for material and labor, while engineered hardwood commonly installs in the range of approximately $12 to $22 per square foot, with premium grades costing more.
Strata requirements are also important, as many condo buildings require flooring assemblies with specific IIC ratings to manage impact sound transmission. Floors Depot's strata flooring packages can include underlayment review, strata bylaw coordination, subfloor preparation, and installation details.
