LaFleur Minerals Expands Land Holdings in Abitibi Gold Belt

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) is expanding its property holdings in the prolific Abitibi Gold Belt of eastern Canada, the country's largest gold-producing region. The company has acquired 100% right, title and interest in 27 mineral claims immediately adjacent to its recently acquired McKenzie East Project, adding 701 hectares to its growing portfolio.

This acquisition brings LaFleur's total acreage within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt to over 57,083 acres (approximately 23,101 hectares, or 231 square kilometers). The new claims are currently active and in good standing until June 12, 2027, and feature a historical gold showing. The company plans an aggressive exploration strategy on these claims to unlock their potential.

The expansion comes as LaFleur prepares to resume production at its Beacon Gold Mill, which is expected to restart in the coming months after a series of refurbishing upgrades. This positions the company to enter the market at a time when gold prices are significantly higher than when the mill ceased operations in 2022. The mill's restart is a key step in LaFleur's strategy to become a near-term gold producer.

LaFleur's recent acquisitions underscore its commitment to building a substantial land package in the Abitibi, which is distinguished as the largest gold-producing region in Canada. The company's exploration efforts will be guided by Qualified Person Louis Martin, P.Geo. (OGQ), Exploration Manager and Technical Advisor, who has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in this article in accordance with NI 43-101.
