Interlock Roofing Ltd. has introduced metal siding and wall cladding panels, extending its lifetime aluminum system from rooftops to exterior walls. The new panels, made from the same heavy-gauge aluminum and finished with the Alunar Coating System, are available in profiles, colors, and trims that match Interlock's roofing products, allowing a home's roof and walls to share a single color-matched aluminum finish. This expansion addresses compatibility issues that can arise when roof and wall products come from different manufacturers, simplifying installation and warranty coverage across all exposed surfaces.
"Homeowners already trust our aluminum roofing to protect their home for a lifetime," said Scott Plumptree, Director of Marketing at Interlock Roofing Ltd. "Extending that same panel, coating, and color system to siding means the entire exterior performs to one standard and reads as one intentional design." The metal siding is offered in four architectural profiles—Slate, Cedar Shingle, Shake, and Standing Seam—which can be combined within a single color family. The panels are formed from heavy-gauge aluminum and finished with the Alunar Coating System, a multi-layer architectural coating that incorporates Cool Roof infrared-reflective pigments designed to reduce solar heat gain on walls.
Non-combustible aluminum construction carries a Class A fire rating, a notable characteristic for properties in wildfire and ember-zone regions. Because aluminum does not absorb moisture, the panels will not rot, warp, or crack through repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The factory-baked finish resists chalking and fading, eliminating the need for repainting over the product's service life. The system also resists insects and coastal salt-air corrosion. Four-way interlocking panels install over most existing wall substrates, fitted by certified installers, and require no painting, sealing, or staining. The aluminum is largely recycled in content and approximately 95 percent recyclable at end of life.
Interlock Metal Siding and aluminum wall cladding are available across the United States and Canada through certified local installers, for both new construction and re-cladding projects. Recent installations include custom homes in Whistler, British Columbia. For more information, visit interlockroofing.com/siding.
