Eric Sprott's $6 Million Warrant Exercise Boosts MAX Power Mining's Natural Hydrogen Ambitions

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has received $6,004,216.22 from the exercise of 12,138,548 company warrants by Eric Sprott through 2176423 Ontario Ltd., according to a company announcement. The warrants were issued through several investments since August 2025 and were exercised on August 24, 2026. Following the exercise, Sprott beneficially owns, directly or indirectly, 47,123,527 shares, representing approximately 24.35% of MAX Power's 193,505,888 issued and outstanding common shares, and holds an additional 16.5 million warrants.

CEO Ran Narayanasamy said the funds will further accelerate the company's commercial validation drill program at the Lawson Complex, where MAX Power is delineating its Natural Hydrogen system. The Lawson Discovery near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, represents Canada's first-ever subsurface Natural Hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling with data validated by three independent labs. MAX Power has built dominant district-scale land positions across Saskatchewan with approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits covering prime exploration ground prospective for large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen.

The significance of this investment extends beyond the immediate capital infusion. Sprott's increased stake signals strong confidence in MAX Power's exploration strategy and the potential of natural hydrogen as a clean energy resource. Natural hydrogen, if commercially viable, could offer a low-carbon alternative to conventional hydrogen production, which often relies on fossil fuels. MAX Power's focus on decarbonization aligns with global efforts to transition to sustainable energy sources, and the accelerated drill program could bring the company closer to validating the commercial potential of its Lawson Complex discovery.

In addition to the funding news, MAX Power announced that President and Director Chad Levesque will present at the Clean Energy & Metals Virtual Investor Conference on August 27 from 1:30-2 p.m. ET. The live online event will include an opportunity for investors to ask questions in real time, with an archived webcast available following the event. This presentation provides an opportunity for the company to engage with investors and share updates on its progress.

MAX Power is an innovative mineral and energy exploration company focused on the shift to decarbonization. Beyond its Saskatchewan hydrogen assets, the company holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals, highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, 100%-owned by MAX Power's U.S. subsidiary. The company is committed to responsible exploration and development practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, meaningful community engagement, and strong corporate governance.

For investors, the warrant exercise and the upcoming conference presentation may serve as indicators of MAX Power's momentum. The additional capital reduces financing risk for the drill program and could lead to resource definition, which is a key milestone for any exploration company. However, as with any exploration-stage venture, success depends on drilling results and the eventual commercial viability of the resource. The natural hydrogen sector is still nascent, and MAX Power's progress will be watched closely by industry observers and potential partners.
